Dodgers minor league outfielder Prentice Redman was hit with a 100-game suspension for testing positive for amphetamine.
The suspension is the second of the season for the 30-year-old Redman, who is currently serving a 50-game suspension for previously testing positive for amphetamine. The 100-game suspension will come into effect when Redman completes his 50-game suspension.
Redman, who played 15 games for the New York Mets in 2003, was hitting .332 with 10 home runs and 41 runs batted in for triple-A Albuquerque when he was slapped with the first suspension on June 25.
